Special Fish Curry Recipes Fish Curry Soup  1. Fish Curry  What you will need  ● Seer Fish - 5 pieces (Any Single bone fish) ● Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp ● Chili powder - 2 tsp ● Salt to taste ● Oil - 2 Tbsp ● Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp ● Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp ● Fennel seeds - 1 tsp ● Cumin seeds - 1 tsp ● Grated Onion - 2 nos ● Pounded Garlic ● Pounded Ginger ● Grated Tomato - 2 nos ● Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp ● Chili powder - 1 tsp ● Kashmiri Chili powder - 2 tsp ● Coriander powder - 1 tsp ● Salt to taste ● Tamarind puree - 2 Tbsp ● Water ● Powdered Jaggery - 1/2 tsp (Optional) What to do  ▪ Take a bowl, add seer fish or any single bone fish, turmeric powder, chili powder and salt. Ugandan Pomfret Fish Fry Pomfret Fish Fry With Lime Slices What you will need  1. For Pomfret Fish  ● Besan/Gram flour - 2 Tsp ● Coconut oil ● Curry leaves 2. For Masala Paste  ● Ginger ● Garlic ● Kashmiri Red Chili - 4 nos ● Salt ● Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp ● Coriander powder - 1 Tsp ● Water What to do  ▪ Grind the masala paste with Ginger, Garlic, Soaked Kashmiri Red Chili, Salt, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, Water. ▪ Add besan flour/ gram flour to the ground masala paste. ▪ Clean the pomfret fish and make slits on the fish so that the masala seeps into the fish. ▪ Apply the marinade masala on top of the fish and let it marinate for about 15 minutes. ▪ After the fish has marinated, heat a kadai with some coconut oil. ▪ Place the marinated fish in the hot oil and add curry leaves stalks on the side to give the fish some extra flavor. ▪ Cook the fish for 5 minutes on each side ▪ Pomfret Fish Fry is ready to be served now.

Delicious Nethili Fish Fry Recipe  Nethili Fried Fish What you will need  ● Anchovies/Nethili - 8 nos ● Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp ● Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp ● Kashmiri Chili Powder - 2 tsp ● Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp ● Gram Flour - 1 tsp ● Ground Pepper ● Salt - 1 1/2 tsp ● Water ● Oil for frying What to do  ▪ In a bowl add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, kashmiri chili powder, coriander powder, salt, gram flour and ground pepper. ▪ Gradually add water and mix to thick marinade. ▪ Apply the marinade to anchovy/nethili. Let it mariante for 30 minutes. ▪ Heat oil in a wide pan, add the marinated anchovy/nethili fish. ▪ Fry the fish till it turns golden brown color. Maximum 3 minutes on each side. ▪ Your Nethili Fish Fry is ready, serve hot.

Delicious Goan Masala Fish Fry Recipe  Goan Masala Fried Fish What you will need  ● Black Pomfret Fish ● Coconut Oil for frying For Goan Masala  ● Red chilli - 15 nos ● A piece of Ginger ● Garlic - 8 cloves ● Cumin seeds - 1 tsp ● Peppercorns - 1/2 tsp ● Cinnamon - 2 piece ● Clove - 12 nos ● Sugar - 1 tsp  ● Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp ● Salt ● Coconut oil - 2 tsp ● Coconut toddy Vinegar (Goan Coconut Vinegar) - 1 cup What to do  ▪ Breaking the 15 nos of Red chillies in to half  ▪ Add a piece of Ginger, 8 cloves of Garlic ▪ Add 1 tsp of Cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of Peppercorns, 2 piece of Cinnamon & 12 nos of Clove. ▪ Then add 1 tsp of Sugar, 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder, Salt & 2 tsp of Coconut oil. ▪ Now add 1 cup of Coconut toddy vinegar (Goan Coconut Vinegar) & let it sit for 30 to 40 minutes. ▪ Grind them into a fine paste.
