Pomfret Fish Fry With Lime Slices

What you will need 

1. For Pomfret Fish 

● Besan/Gram flour - 2 Tsp

● Coconut oil

● Curry leaves


2. For Masala Paste 

● Ginger

● Garlic

● Kashmiri Red Chili - 4 nos

● Salt

● Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp

● Coriander powder - 1 Tsp

● Water


What to do 

▪ Grind the masala paste with Ginger, Garlic, Soaked Kashmiri Red Chili, Salt, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, Water.

▪ Add besan flour/ gram flour to the ground masala paste.

▪ Clean the pomfret fish and make slits on the fish so that the masala seeps into the fish.

▪ Apply the marinade masala on top of the fish and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

▪ After the fish has marinated, heat a kadai with some coconut oil.

▪ Place the marinated fish in the hot oil and add curry leaves stalks on the side to give the fish some extra flavor.

▪ Cook the fish for 5 minutes on each side

▪ Pomfret Fish Fry is ready to be served now.
