Swahili Beef Biriani  ● 1 kg beef fillet steak (if using a tough cut of meat you will need to add in 1-2 cups of water in the mix and cook Until your meat is tender) ● 500ml veg oil ● 4 large onion sliced ● 1/2 kg potatoes peeled and cut into halves  ● 1 teaspoon garlic minced ● 1 teaspoon ginger minced  ● 1 tablespoon whole pilau mix ● 2 tomatoes cubed  ● 1 green pepper finely diced  ● 300g tomato paste ● 3 lemons squeezed ● 250ml Buttermilk (maziwa Lala) ● Salt to taste  2.
