Here is my delicious fluffy Dark Chocolate cake recipe with Raspberries, this is my first ever recipe and the best one I have ever created to date. It’s super easy to whip up using Unga wa Taifa Self Raising flour and your cake will become so moist and fluffy. Try it and let me know.
What you will need
● 500g Sugar
● 350g Butter
● 5-6 eggs
● 500g Taifa raising flour
● 100g cocoa
● 1 1/2 glass milk
● 2 tspn vanilla essence
● 1 packet raspberries
● Ganache
● 1kg dark chocolate melted
● 250ml heavy cream (whipped)
● 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
● Pinch of salt
What to do
▪ Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy add in the eggs one by one add in the vanilla essence and beat until mixture is soft. In a separate bowl sift the Taifa self raising flour and cocoa then gradually add in that mixture to the butter little by little while mixing finish up with the milk to soften the mixture then bake in a greased and lined 8inch tin and 6inch tin for about 45mins to 1hour at 180’c. This makes one and a half kg cake.
▪ For the ganache melt the chocolate until smooth, mix it with the whipped cream until combined add the vanilla and pinch of salt, refrigerate the mixture until the consistency slightly hardens, once the cakes are cool split each cake into to 2, pipe the ganache in each layer and alternate with raspberries.
