Black Pepper And Goat Meat With Rice


Here Is The Recipe 

● 1 kg goat meat cut into chunks 

● 1 teaspoon garlic ginger paste 

● Salt to taste

● 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 

● Juice of 1 lime 

● 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

● vegetable oil for deep frying 


Sauce 

● 250grams margarine (salted)

● 50g paprika (red sweet pepper powder)

● 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 

● 2 tablespoons vinegar 

● Juice of 2 lime 

● 1 teaspoon Garlic ginger paste 

● 2 tablespoons tomato paste


▪ Marinate the Goat chunks with lime juice, black pepper, garlic ginger paste and salt. Mix well and set aside for 1 - 2 hours for the flavors to infuse well. In a Deep pan with vegetable oil over medium heat fry the Goat chunks until brown and crisp on the outside. Remove from oil and set aside.


Let’s make the sauce 


▪ In a pan over medium heat add in the margarine and melt it until becomes liquid, reduce heat to low then add in the garlic ginger paste, tomato paste, vinegar and lime juice cook for 5 minutes then remove from heat and add in the paprika and cayenne pepper stir well until combined, at this point you don’t want to return back to the heat because the paprika will burn, Put the goat chunks in the sauce mixture stir well and let the sauce coat all over the Chunks and then serve with rice sprinkle some raisins if you wish and serve with the remaining extra sauce on the side and some mango pickle.
